NEW ADDITIONS
This specific line of Floor Standing Kiosk Indoor, “JOY Series” by World Trade Display has not stopped evolving; recently, in fact, we have also expanded this series in a version with double display and made the installation of Ad-Hoc components, such as CPU / RAM / SSD or external components such as POS for Contactless payments, more flexible.

The success of the “JOY Series” Indoor Floor Standing Kiosks in the various solutions with or without PC / Android and with sizes ranging from 32 to 65 inches then constituted the initial business card for the other highly sought-after solutions, namely the “Outdoor” ones.

Always designed in high technology and with an “Air Condition” system housed inside, the “MONOLITH” series can support operating temperatures from -35° up to + 75° which have made this type of outdoor solution very widespread, both in use of dynamic citizen messaging and information for the public administration.

These new JOY / MONOLITH series are available in WTD as early as January 2022 and can also be produced in “Custom” solutions for customized needs.

  • Price Impact: Significant price increases are being observed, with some DDR5 kits exceeding USD 600. Analysts forecast a steady upward trend in the long term, estimated through 2028.
  • Market Situation: Rising RAM prices have caused a 40%–50% decline in motherboard sales, described in some sectors as a “memory apocalypse.”
  • Emerging Trends: There is renewed interest in older motherboards and memory technologies, such as DDR4,
    due to the prohibitive costs of next-generation platforms.

The situation is critical, with price increases affecting not only key components but the entire PC ecosystem as well, including motherboards, which are also being impacted by memory shortages.
