VENDITALIA 2022 …. ENTHUSIASM FOR WTD

Also this year, visitors confirmed their interest in the Venditalia 2022 event, which took place at Fiera Milano City from 11 to 14 May 2022 with regard to World Trade Display, a leading company in the Display & Digital Signage Solutions market, where the company exhibited the latest innovations and new concepts of Touch Monitor; Kiosk Floor Standing, Open Frame, Touch Table, Touch Screen, Videowall, Order Kiosk, together with a whole range of LCD / LED Backlight panels for the outdoors.

Through real-time demonstrations thanks to interactive software already preloaded by the company, the sensation and impact of the innovative WTD solutions has made it possible to convince even the most skeptical, in particular with regard to the “touchless” functionality, that is how simply approaching the mobile phone to the QR Code Reader on the MAC and JOY models, a new way of choosing the product is easily realized.

  • Price Impact: Significant price increases are being observed, with some DDR5 kits exceeding USD 600. Analysts forecast a steady upward trend in the long term, estimated through 2028.
  • Market Situation: Rising RAM prices have caused a 40%–50% decline in motherboard sales, described in some sectors as a “memory apocalypse.”
  • Emerging Trends: There is renewed interest in older motherboards and memory technologies, such as DDR4,
    due to the prohibitive costs of next-generation platforms.

The situation is critical, with price increases affecting not only key components but the entire PC ecosystem as well, including motherboards, which are also being impacted by memory shortages.
