World Trade Display (WTD) expands its horizons with a new line of consumer electronics products, ranging from LED Monitors to the most immersive Gaming Monitors, and Commercial Tablet PCs ideal for integration into Self-Service Kiosks.
This range was created to offer consumer-grade solutions that can also be used in industrial contexts, marking a strategic turning point for WTD: simplifying integration while ensuring maximum price competitiveness across all Display & Digital Signage solutions.

 

A new consumer electronics concept

The Consumer Device line is designed to enhance the system integrator experience, offering high performance, operational flexibility, and affordable costs.
For the first time, WTD launches a consumer-based series tailored for industrial use, delivering professional-grade features at a cost-effective price.

  • Commercial Tablets for integration in vending machine front panels
  • Mini Displays for Self-Service Ticketing systems
  • Gaming Monitors for Slot Machines (AWP) and Video Lottery (VLT), featuring borderless displays and integrated Android or Windows boards

Maximum structural flexibility

The displays include a modular plastic cover that simplifies integration. With the Push & Pry system, assemblers can easily separate the front and back covers to obtain an open frame embedded display, ready to be mounted into their custom kiosk in minutes.
They can also be secured using standard metal frames once converted into open-frame versions.

The WTD Consumer Device solutions feature clean, elegant designs. Certain models include “Light-Bar Surround Multicolor” backlighting, ensuring maximum visibility in any environment.

  • Market Situation: Rising RAM prices have caused a 40%–50% decline in motherboard sales, described in some sectors as a “memory apocalypse.”
  • Emerging Trends: There is renewed interest in older motherboards and memory technologies, such as DDR4,
    due to the prohibitive costs of next-generation platforms.

The situation is critical, with price increases affecting not only key components but the entire PC ecosystem as well, including motherboards, which are also being impacted by memory shortages.
